I had trouble using liveusb-creator-3.11.7 in Windows 8:

When I installed Fedora-18-x86_64-Live-SoaS.iso with persistent storage of
1001 MB, the syslinux.cfg called for a readonly boot even though the
persistent overlay file was created.

(I see that a liveusb-creator-3.11.8 is in the works.
