The nightly composes have continued to fail:

There seem to be 2 problems here:

1-) missing dependency :
http://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/nightly-composes/soas/logs/20100831.16-FAILED-i386.log
to
http://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/nightly-composes/soas/logs/20100905.17-FAILED-i386.log

Error creating Live CD : Failed to build transaction :
gnome-packagekit-2.31.4-2.fc14.i686 requires libgnome-control-center.so.1

2-) x-server and other boot errors in the updates repo.
soas-i386-20100818.16 was the last working build

I have been building good soas-remix .iso's by doing the following:
---------------------------------------
Edits to: fedora-live-mini.ks

repo --name=updates
--mirrorlist=http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=f14&arch=$basearch
#repo --name=updates
--mirrorlist=http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=updates-released-f14&arch=$basearch

add in section:
# Remove default base packages we don't want
-gnome-packagekit
---------------------------------------
Builds using the second - updates-released repo fail: "boots, ends up
with blank screen with X cursor no firstboot, gdm or sugar login"

Test Results:

It seems that yum update from terminal will add gnome-packagekit later
if it is needed.

I am using livecdtools and spin-kickstarts to build .iso's in fedora12
and fedora14 HD installs.
In f12 I use copies of the f14 spin-kickstart files.
