Many thanks for running through a good chunk of activities. Could you email, or bug track, or wiki the log output for the failed activities somewhere I can take a look at?

Did salut work (two machines/VMs on one network segment)? Useful to test to make sure the Soas firewall is not configured to block it.

Yes, this one is very odd, something very F13 specific? No problem in Sugar under F10, F11, F12.

Missing platform dependancies? Pygame perhaps.

Did you get a chance to test some of the code samples? Often can be a missing dependancy or so for some.

Likely all missing a sound related platform dependancy.

I think that is the expected behaviour for Read, it currently supports PDF, DjVu, EPUB (as I remember).
