Mark;

Here are several ways to get Pippy into Mirabelle:

1-)In sugar browse:
 (Download it and it will install automatically )
http://activities.sugarlabs.org/en-US/sugar/downloads/file/27001/pippy-37.xo
http://activities.sugarlabs.org/en-US/sugar/

2-)Drag-Drop Install;
 Download the .xo file to a USB stick from here outside of sugar:
 (Then start sugar and insert the stick.
 Install it from the 2nd USB stick by dragging it from usb stick to
journal in left bottom of sugar window)
 http://download.sugarlabs.org/activities/4041/

A Listing of most available compatible activities is located here:
http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Features/Soas_V4/ASLOxo_Activity_Test_Table#Activity_Test_Results

You can use a USB stick to transfer files to your MAC HD.
Drag-drop items from the Journal to an inserted USB and then Insert it
in the Mac and transfer the files, works both ways.
(Dragging to a USB does an automatic translation of the journal files to
ones you can access)

Cordially;
