[SoaS] Error building soas and soas-xo on F11

Sorry about the delays....

I have been spending all of my hacking time on mirrorbrain.  I am
rushing on it a bit to make sure that it will be well tested by the
upcoming soas release.

I'll try to get back to this in a few days.
