Well, isn't 600 MB an odd size for that? Too big for a 512 MB stick but wastes a lot of space on a bigger one.

And when I plug it into the mac, it shows as an ISO 9660 file system. Or what do you mean by "hybrid"?

In any case my old boot-helper CD could not boot it from the stick (tried on a Mac mini).
