mailing lists, it seems to be making good progress towards the goal of being
suitable for classroom use; if not on XOs, at least on PCs... And in any
case, it should be the same as or better than Fedora in terms of how well it
runs.

You seem to be suggesting that it's doomed unless we massively expand the
scope of our development efforts.

I think all of these questions and hypothetical situations ultimately stem
from these two vantage points.
