Sean can say more about this, but for what its worth we are thinking that for the next 6 months or so we want to market to the top 5% Geekiest people in the elementary school Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). That is teachers, and the parents who volunteer at schools, but for the next 6 months, while we are in testing and piloting mode, we want to be reaching out to the geekiest of them. As we mature we'll broaden our focus.

Of course we also want to reach out to developers and especially Linux people who love kids.

Hope that helps.

On Sun, May 31, 2009 at 9:48 PM, Christian Vanizette <tahitian.coconut@gmail.com> wrote:
Can you go to http://www.google.com/grants/new/index.html and click on
'Apply today by completing our online application form'.

Can you help by filling out the two sections:

Please provide a sample of an ad you might run through Google Grants.

Please provide a list of keyword / keyword combinations that you feel
are relevant to your organization.

and return them by email to the list? The rest of the form is
organizational stuff. Those look like the important questions.
