This part is especially interesting:
"In the spirit of open source, we are offering Ubuntu or any other
distro that you would like to see. If you want a distro that we don't
already list, please email us at stickylinux at zareason.com and we'll
see what we can do to add your distro to the list."
What makes it work is that they evacuate our problem of multiple stick
vendors; much easier for them to do QC on a single stick make and
model - even if the manufacturer makes a running change, if they work
closely together they can test a new model.
Karlie at on-disk.com has been offering the SoaS beta basically at
cost, I think getting SoaS listed with such suppliers (perhaps in
branded/nonbranded variants) is an excellent approach.
