It is amazing the long life of rumors... in fact the Apple OS was
never seriously offered as an option for OLPC since the machine was
too underpowered to run it. But Jobs did refer to the Beta-1 hardware
as terrible and an early version of Sugar as the worst UI he had ever
seen.
