Tiffany & Steve of the Digital Literacy Project (<a
class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="http://www.DigiLiteracy.org">www.DigiLiteracy.org</a>)

will be presenting DigiLit's recent [January 2010] XO deployment in
<br>
Managua, Nicaragua. Independently from OLPC's larger efforts in the
<br>
region, seven members of the Harvard team set up a computer lab at
<br>
the Nicaraguan Deaf Association, adding deaf students to the One
<br>
Laptop per Child equation. The team will talk about plans for
<br>
translating XO laptop tutorials into sign language, as well as
<br>
curriculum development. Please join us to consider how the XO
<br>
can accommodate different styles of learning!
