laboratory) lugging the Ceibal laptop. <br>

There, after the children had copied the daily agenda, as they
always do, with pencil and paper, they worked with Tortug Art and
Tortug Art Portfolio,
with the subject: How, when and why to apply the Pythagorean Theorem in
the computer? solving a problem, and devising a grid for the carpenter,
in the computer, to hang our loofah plants, which we will plant in
Durazno. <br>
A girl came forward, and programmed the grid using the appropriate
blocks, for all to see on the plasma. <br>
<br>
While it was just another day, because that subject had a before and
after for them, they were very nervous, since some had never traveled
to
Montevideo. <br>
<br>
The second module was with Etoys, we made a page of a book whose
focus is "production cycle of loofah", emphasizing the concept of
Macro Language: Communication, as it is shipped, the IC in the Project,
Oral Etoys Radio which was presented at Squeakfest, Brazil 2009. <br>

We were congratulate and the work of children was applauded. <br>

Estimados compañeros :<br>
Los seleccioné porque fueron y son los que saben valorar el esfuerzo
que significó para mi llegar a aprender a hacer algo para luego
enseñarle a mis alumnos, pasito a pasito, por ensayo y error, con
camino espinoso y a veces perfumado por rosas, pero no siempre estable;
porque fueron los que aportaron sus granitos de arena para que nuestro
conocimiento informático-matemático, creciera un poquito más.<br>
Quiero contarles que tuvimos el honor de ser seleccionados para
representar el departamento de Durazno, por el Plan Ceibal, para
concurrir a Montevideo, con todos los gastos pagos, en un bus del LATU,
a trabajar, como lo hacemos día a día en el aula ( nuestro valioso
laboratorio de investigación educativa) llevando a cuestas la laptop
del Plan Ceibal.<br>
Allí , luego de que los niños y niñas copiaron la AGENDA DIARIA, como
lo hacen siempre, con lápiz y papel, trabajaron con Tortug Arte y
Tortug Arte Portafolios, con el tema : ¿Cómo , cuándo y para qué
aplicar el Teorema de Pitágoras en la computadora?resolviendo un
problema, y diseñando una rejilla para el carpintero, en la
computadora, para sostén de las plantas de esponja vegetal, que vamos a
plantar en Durazno.<br>
Una niña pasó al frente, y programó la rejilla usando los bloques
adecuados, visualizándose en el plasma.<br>
<br>
Si bien era una jornada más, pues dicho tema tenía un antes y un
después para ellos, pasaron muy nerviosos, pues algunos nunca habían
viajado a Montevideo.<br>
El segundo Módulo, fue con Etoys, hicimos una página de un libro , cuyo
centro de interés es "Circuito productivo de la esponja vegetal",
haciendo hincapié en el Macro-concepto de la Lengua: Comunicación, ya
que está incluido, el C.I. en el Proyecto, Radio Oral en Etoys que se
presentó en squeakfest, Brasil 2009.<br>
Nos felicitaron y aplaudieron el trabajo de los niños.<br>
Estoy muy contenta de que se nos haya tenido en cuenta para ser
pioneros en el canal del Ceibal que pronto saldrá al aire.<br>
