The Ethiopia project report posted a few days ago is a must-read, in that it has quite a few things to say about the impact of the laptops on the teachers. I saw similar things in the OLE Nepal blog. Changing the teachers' understanding about alternate ways of conducting classes is likely to have a big effect on the learning of kids in these experimental settings that is not associated with the use of the laptops per se.<br>
