Sorry, I posted the link to git before I looked at Ruben's archive,
which also seems to contain sources.

I think there _could_ be some middle ground between a hack to bundle
and launch a random X11 app, and supporting the full API that Bert so
kindly documented on the wiki, and that Etoys implements so
effectively.

If there is demand to go that route (I am not sure if there is)
perhaps we users at IAEP could discuss what features are most wanted
in a middle ground.

Yama, will your users be permitted to log into the Gnome desktop on
their XOs or Classmates?
