Hi all,

I just stumbled across this blog post on Google's Open Source blog
(http://google-opensource.blogspot.com/2011/10/google-code-in-are-you-in.html)
which describes an interesting contest bringing together open-source
organizations and 13 to 17 year old students.

If I understand the post correctly the participating open-source
organizations were already chosen so unfortunately it looks Sugar Labs
won't make the cut this time 'round.

However I think this should be a strong incentive to keep our eyes open
for the next GSoC season since that's probably a good entry-way into
such competitions in the future. Aside from the benefits to Sugar Labs
itself this also sounds like a *great* opportunity for people such as
Uruguay's Christofer:-)

Cheers,
Christoph
