[IAEP] SoaS meetings?

You are receiving this e-mail if you replied to my suggestion for
online meetings about SOAS testing for lessons, or somebody copied you
on a reply. Please let us know if you don't want to be in the
conversation.

In appears that all of us except perhaps Tim (due to time zone UTC+13)
can meet online. I'm on shared chat and #olpc-help in SoaS and will
stay on all day today to test connections. I don't see anybody in my
neighborhood view right now. I am also on the olpc-content and olpc
channels in IRC.

We will need

o a Wiki section: http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Collaboration#Testing
o a suitable mailing list. We can choose an existing list, or create one.
o a place to post logs of our discussions
o your suggestions for topics and resources

I got started on this as an offshoot of [[The Undiscoverable]]. I am
about to make a dependency graph for all of the topics listed there,
and work out a reasonable order for teaching them that respects those
dependencies. I want to add any further topics that come out of
testing. What patterns of collaboration does Sugar support now? What
might we want? How will children find out about those patterns?

We know about Write, Paint, TamTamJam, where a group of students each
contributes to a document or performance. We know about single-user
Activities that allow viewing by a group. What else?

I propose that we all check our software, and have a meeting on Friday
at 18:00 UTC, 14:00 EDT, 11:00 PDT, 7:00 New Zealand. I believe that
that is a bit late for Tim. :)
