[IAEP] Identifying and Engaging Lead Users

This last release has been quite a ride!  Many people have stood up
and made things happen.

Walter provided a good summary in this weeks Sugar Digest at

So, what is next?  What are our goals?

I spent some time last week reading reading the work of Eric von
Hippel.  Von Hippel's research is in the area of the nature and
economics of distributed and open innovation

Von Hippel defines a Lead User as:
1. Lead users face needs that will be general in a marketplace – but
face them months or years before the bulk of that marketplace
encounters them, and
2. Lead users are positioned to benefit significantly by obtaining a
solution to those needs.

The overall goal of this release should be 'Identifying and Engaging
Lead Users of Sugar and Sugar Labs'
