Another collaboration session was help on June 17,2009. Here is what we
found out:

There were up to 30 users online during testing, approximately 8-10 active
users.

Please anyone who attended the testing, reply with your comments.

First, after correct configuration, the jabber.sugarlabs.org server
experienced only intermittent load, consuming about 150mb of RAM while we
were testing. with CPU usage going up to 10-20% at times. I was not able to
find any specific actions that caused a signifigant load with this level of
usage.

Activities that were tested include Write, Chat, Colors, Speak in Chat mode,
Etoys, Memorize, and Record. Everything pretty much worked as expected with
very little to no lag when an activity would appear in neighborhood view
when it was shared, and during collaboration. The Record activity showed
some unexpected behavior. 1) If a camera is not detected you can not see
shared photos. If an item in record was shared before a user joined the
activity, the existing shared items are not shown. Also if an item is
deleted from the creator's machine after it was shared, the collaborator's
display was not updated. Sharing audio and pictures downloading the full
size content was very slow. The downloading progress bar did not update with
the progress while downloading.

Overall it was a good testing session, and it showed that the server is now
working well enough for a more comprehensive testing session.
