I think the next step will be to revisit the mission and vision
statements and engage start hacking on the talk: pages Fred has
started on the wiki.

I am starting a post on post on mission and vision which should be
ready in a few days. We can use the existing mission statement as a
starting point for discussion. Walter is working on a revised vision
statement.

This time last year, we were very focused on narrowing the mission to
something very concrete. This year it looks like we can re-frame the
discussion by using the mission statement and vision statements as
bookends.

At one end, the vision statement is how the world will improve if
Sugar Labs is successful.

At the other end, the mission statement is a more concrete and limited
statement on what Sugar Labs must _do_ to make that vision a reality.

Just like other parts of Sugar Labs, these statements are fluid and
will evolve as the project evolves.
