I'm planning to do that, but not within a week. I need to test my
ideas before sending any of them out.

The operative word for me is "explore". That is, I don't want to write
a step-by-step guide. I want to invite people into the possibly scary
world of trying something you don't understand to see how much of it
you can discover. What size chunks should we invite people to try? How
do we provide the information they will need if they get stuck without
falling into spoilers? What is definitely not discoverable, and how
and when should we introduce that? I don't want to say either too much
or too little.

What I really would like to do is to borrow a usability lab and get
some novices to try an XO where we can record everything. I can make
some calls next week. Does anybody in Cambridge have access to such
facilities. Does the Media Lab have that kind of setup?

I'll get you an outline of a possible approach on Monday. I think. I'm
generally on IRC. OLPC-Content seems to be the appropriate channel. I
tend to keep programmer's hours, working late into the night.
