True. What I described is just an enabling step on the client side -
what we allow on the servers is a separate policy discussion. Currently
our recommended ejabberd configuration on school servers disables any
server to server connections, so we'd have to enable that too, but then
you could make a whitelist of "connect to these schools" for example, or
you can always limit which interconnections are made by firewall rules too.
