José, Debian package maintainer for Squeak VM and EToys, is the main
administrator of the whole Extremadura school network.

Their Linex system is now being switched to Debian, in close 
coorporation with Skolelinux/Debian-edu that is also moving towards 
becoming a Debian "Pure Blend" (full adoption into Debian main).

So unless your interest is about Linex as it was in the past, you might 
want to look at Skolelinux/Debian-edu (and then imagine KDE replaced 
with Gnome, as that is the preferred desktop in Extremadura).
