This is, of course, very true. And, now that I think more about it, I
suppose that it is likely a wise decision to come up with a completely
independent logo for Sugar. And so I do a 180 in my perspective on
the matter of the logo.

However, I don't think that there is any need whatsoever to take this
to the level of replacing graphics within the sugar UI, if that's what
you're implying. Within the context of the interface, the XOs are not
used as logos, but as a fundamental building block of the interface,
specifically (and obviously) used to represent the children and
individuals using it. I'd /really/ hate to see that swapped out for
other icons instead.
