Since there will always be newcomers to a mailing list, perhaps a
succinct "About" statement should be added to the list's information
page at:
http://lists.lo-res.org/mailman/listinfo/its.an.education.project
At the moment, the "About" section is blank.
I joined the list because another list member recommended I do so,
after I wrote to him regarding my hopes to use technologies like the
XO to improve computer literacy for deaf children in developing
countries, as well as providing a means for them to better "reach out
and touch" the world. I'm not well-versed enough to have much thought
on how to improve Sugar.
