Well, I'm not sure the media distorted it too much: most of the fuss
of a few months ago actually originated by verbatim quoting of OLPC's
chairman in interviews and posts to public mailing lists, venting a
rather worrying change in strategy.

Now we're seeing several signs of change, and I'd also be willing to
believe that OLPC is steering back on track, but let's not put all the
blame on the media.
