<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> </head> <body> Hi, I've been looking at all the various calendars, and I think the following plan would be best for our final series of GSoC/DMP showcases: <ul> <li>August 9 -- Summer Finale 1 of 3 (GSoC): Music Blocks and Sugarizer: Shaik khadar vali; Abhijeet Singh; Mubashir Shariq; Karan Palan, Samarth Bagga, and Utkarsh Siddhpura,</li> <li>August 16 -- Summer Finale 2 of 3 (GSoC): RPi, Activities, Flatpack, AI chat, and AI-enabled Python assist: Anurag Singh, SudoSu-bham, Kshitij Shah, Spandan Brave, Vaibhav Sangwan, and Qixiang Wang</li> <li>August 30 -- Summer Finale 3 of 3 (DMP): Music Blocks and Raspberry Pi -- Ajeet Pratap Singh and Aayush Raj</li> </ul> Notice that this is a bit different than we've been doing before. This time, I'm thinking that we have the DMP students present in their own slot a few weeks after GSoC students present. The main reason for separating DMP and GSoC is because DMP's coding (started later and) ends September 11. GSoC's final coding period is August 19 through August 26. If you see anything wrong with this plan, please let me know as soon as you can. Lastly, some have asked that their headshots be added to the thumbnails. If you'd like your headshot to be added to the final thumbnails for these, please send those as a reply to this email ASAP. I'm making a batch today.
