[GSoC] Students: Please ensure that your projects are properly licensed | Mentors: let's plan to pull in these repos into our GH org

Hi,

As we enter our final weeks of GSoC and DMP, I've found a few projects
that don't yet have licenses.

If you are working on an existing codebase, you're probably ok as the
project already has a license.

If you had to create a new repository for something new, like an AI
service, then you need to make sure that you've added a Free/Libre/Open
license to your repository. This is important for a few reasons. One
reason is because Google requires it (ref:
https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/rules); another is because all the
software Sugar Labs distributes is under such licenses, because they're
good for education.

If you need any guidance on this, please reply to this email with your
mentor cc-ed.

Also, a note to mentors: Sometime in the near future we should pull any
of these new repositories into our org on GH. In the short term, I'm
applying for some grants, and where the code is published has some
implications for writing these grants. For the long term, we just don't
want to loose track of these repos.

Thanks,

Devin
