It's one of our first (perhaps the first?) for the summer.

Again, these weekly blog posts will help you keep track of your progress 
and organize your thoughts, they will help your mentors assist and 
properly evaluate your progress, and they are also helpful for other 
contributors, now and in the future.

Congrats again, Khadar, for taking the initiative!

Also, please mark you calendars for next Friday, June 7, 17:00 UTC and 
June 14, 17:00 UTC. June 7 will have five GSoC and DMP interns 
presenting their proposals for Music Blocks summer work. The link is

As for June 14, that will be for all the other interns. If you fall into 
this category, if you don't mind, please send me an email off-list with 
your name, your GSoC/DMP proposal attached, and (optionally) a headshot. 
(I can probably find this information, but it would be easier if you 
just send it to me.) I think people will really enjoy these, and we'll 
all benefit from having them.
