Hello all

I am Ashutosh Chaudhary, pursuing BTech(ECE, Final Year) from LPU(Punjab,
India). I have been coding in python since my school days and have also
good experience in Web frameworks. So I am good at making desktop apps in
python and websites apps too, in PHP, javascripts.

I have developed some application as of self-interest and for college
projects too-

[1] Python desktop application using wx_python, a directory protection
tool with AES encryption capability

[2] Frontend+Backend web development with PHP, HMTL5/CSS3/JavaScript - College
Cultural Society event site.

[3] Project and article sharing website currently undergoing some
recent changes

[4] Django in ubuntu server for TINCAN API

I am recently developing a project with python NMEA parser and webkit
for college. This has used JSON parser(python) extensively. So I am

also familiar with JSON parsing in python.

I am looking for applying my skills and contribute to your project in

GSOC 2013. As I am great lover of open-source and I am currently

working on e-learning content package, so I wish if I could participate in this
project-

Project sharing Website-

   - Ability to engage and connect with friends and classmates using
   various Social Networking sites/techniques.
   - Ability to post projects from various Sugar Activities (ex: Turtle
   Blocks, Etoys, Memorize, Physics, etc.)
   - Separate landing pages for different audiences (kids, teachers,
   parents, etc.)
   - Section to share kid created art from projects
   - Ability for users to create galleries (of their own projects, favorite
   projects, subject specific topics, etc.)
   - Ability to have “private classroom spaces”
   - Tools to support community management of the site
   - Multi-language support

I would like to develop in Django framework and improve the working for
this project more by adding ajax tab functionalities, JSON parsing for
flexibility, A rough draft logger/viewer to detect past activities.

If these suggestions are welcomed, I would love to implement them. Or if
anybody want me to work on their suggestions, please let me know.

Thanking you all in advance

Ashutosh Chaudhary
