Meaning we can create main-stream activities as well as activities that may only appeal to children with certain learning styles. While we seem to have software developers coming on board at a fairly rapid rate, we'd like each team to have two professional educators to guide their work. This is where I'm struggling. I know lots and lots of software developers, but very few teachers in Western NY. Do you know of anyone I should try to make contact with? Associations? Anyone you could forward this email to? The collaboration would take place online and through email and would only be as demanding as the volunteers choose. However, volunteers who can commit at least 1 hour per week to an assigned team will be given an XO laptop (<a href="http://laptop.org/en/laptop/" target="_blank">http://laptop.org/en/laptop/</a>). After all, the idea is to create activities that work well on the XO, so it's important that the volunteers can use the machine hands-on.
