Antitree, and the rest of the group:

In response to your query, I would like to invite you all to a
secondary meetup, let's call it the "Python Workshop". Back in April
Dave Rhodes and I held a meeting at the U of R as an initial trial.
There are some rough edges, but I think we can try again with a
stronger, more helpful focus.

I would like to schedule a meetup at the U of R (announcement and
directions to come soon via meetup.com) for Thursday, May 28th.

This workshop will be focused as such:
* Attendees will be there specifically for Python.
* You must come with a Python question, project, or problem.
* If not, then you will hopefully be intent on assisting on any Python
questions, projects, or problems brought in.
* Otherwise, you must be interested in learning from the discussions
that proceed from this and are required to stay on topic (Python!)

We will have a large room with multiple tables, accessible Wi-Fi, and
projector. We should consider getting pizza; I might suggest we all
chip in a few bucks depending on the crowd and interest.

I'm not an instructor in Python, but I would like to learn in a peer,
project-oriented setting in addition to books and websites, hopefully
this is an interest to you as well.

I see this as a nice accessory to the primary meetup, which I believe
Drew would like to hold on Mondays at Shiki.

Please respond if you are interested, or if you have comments and
concerns about this idea.

Thanks,
Rich
