Interesting, I haven't seen this before. Too bad we can't see where
exactly it got stuck and if there were any error messages.

According to SL#2807 [1], the logo is incorrect ("too many hydrogen
atoms"). :)

Very strange indeed. Maybe you accidentally touched the touchpad and
started them from the Home View? Or some XO-1 (CL1) touchpad weirdness?
What was the model of XO you tested this on?
