I thought I read somewhere that having this screen allowed OLPC to ship XO's with minimal printed material to keep costs down?

P.S. Hey maybe if that screen stays, we should mix in a few more ULs as per Aperture Science? If we can't make it less scary let's make it more scary! ;) Now if we could only use the lovely female voice from the sentry guns at shutdown — "Nap time", "Sleep mode", "Resting"; and replace the OLPC startup chime with "There you are", "I see you", "Helloooo!", "Hello friend"... Localised of course ;) Actually I am serious about needing a little more sound feedback in the Sugar experience, but that's something for a different meeting.
