 I don't know of an issue with porting Record to GStreamer 1.0 on the XO; I
 don't recall seeing any testing.  The XO isn't particularly relevant to
 this ticket, as it is stuck with Fedora 18 or Fedora 20.  Debian and
 Fedora are dropping GStreamer 0.10.  Ubuntu seems to be keeping it for
 16.04, but I expect it to be dropped after that as they track Debian
 somewhat.  While there have been discussions about Debian on the XO-1 and
 XO-1.5, the requirement was for a modern Firefox in the MATE desktop, and
 not Sugar.  So for Sugar, and therefore Record, the long term goal should
 be to port.
