 The .sugar/default/$BUNDLE/instance and tmp directories persist, and the
 contents may grow without control.  This can cause "Your Journal is full"
 warning.

 Rainbow was once responsible for ensuring that activities have an empty
 instance and tmp directory.  Now, Sugar must not require Rainbow.

 Sugar must remove these directories and files at some time, at one or more
 of these points in time;
  * in the shell on Sugar start,
  * in the shell on activity start,
  * in the activity on normal close,
  * in the shell on activity process exit.
