 Thanks, I've been experimenting with that, please have a look at
 https://github.com/sugarlabs/sugar/pull/616

 Keyboard interactions don't appear to work anyway, so we haven't lost much
 if we avoid focus leaving the search entry widget.  It looks like it would
 be a lot of work, but of benefit for accessibility, if keyboard focus
 navigation could be fixed.
