Comment (by godiard):

 Was a problem with espeak command in F18.

 Running:
 {{{
 espeak "hello world"
 }}}
 in the terminal gives a error about not be able to open the audio device.

 Implemented a solution using tts in the sugar toolkit (Need Sugar 0.104)
