 Method to reproduce:
 * visit the journal and delete all journal entries,
 * return to the home view and launch the Record activity, and take at
 least twenty photos, ''or'' create about that many journal entries by
 other means,
 * watch closely and visit the journal.

 Expected result:
 * journal is shown with entries,

 Observed result:
 * the message "Your Journal is empty" is shown briefly (for about one
 second), then vanishes, and the journal entries are shown.
