Comment (by tch):

 Testing in version 58 of Pippy, this poblems is still present. You can
 move the horizontal line below the toolbar, once is there you can only get
 it back by pressing the hide/show console button and manually resizing the
 console area.

 I don't think this is a urgent issue, but might worth considering it.
