 This was reported in AU, but I could reproduce it:

 Once in a while (~1 in 10) when the user try to copy a item in the
 Journal, to Documents or to a external device, nothing is copied.

 After add log, I found the code connected to "activate" signal is not
 called [1].

 I added a call back to "button-press-event" and that is always called.

 There are other bugs reported similar to this, but not exactly equal [2]
 and a complex proposed workaround [3].
