Comment:

 the problem was introduced during the conversion to Turtle-centric logic.
 The turtle.show() method was calling set_heading without share=False.
 Should be fixed by:

 https://git.sugarlabs.org/turtleart/mainline/commit/86845dc91f612d5d32535b8e355af5448c3e1ec3

 Will be included in release 191
