 Any times that I've seen a buddy or shared activity icon missing has been
 due to collaboration stack bugs (or power saving). We should fix the bugs
 before adding extra UI for a neighbourhood refresh button and, ideally,
 improve the core stack behaviour so the user does not need to be involved
 in a forced refreshing at all.
