New description:

 How to reproduce:

 1. Alice opens Speak
 2. Alice invites someone
 3. Bob accepts invitation
 4. Bob goes to chat pane
 5. Bob says something
 6. Alice sees what bob said, but it's not spoken

This happens more often on XO1 but has been observed on XO1.75 as well.

Comment:

I can confirm the issue only happens when using the gst-plugins-espeak
backend. When switching to espeak command mode it will play successfully
on all peers sharing the session.
