 In my debugging, I have occasionally gotten myself into a state where it
 thinks that a card is in the match area (left) when it is actually in the
 grid, hence it reports a bad match even when it appears that there are
 only two cards in the match area. Thought it was a transient problem but
 apparently not. Will try to reproduce it.
