Comment:

 It's working fine with my private server (running ejabberd on Debian
 Squeeze), too. So not per se a Dextrose issue and probably not an issue
 for deployments as they are usually running ejabberd on XS rather than
 whatever jabber.sugarlabs.org currently uses (Prosody IIRC).

 Strange that it happens only on dx3g091, though. os883 ships exactly the
 same Telepathy packages (except for telepathy-sofiasip-0.6.6-1.fc14.i686
 which isn't installed on os883).

 Can you verify that dx3g091 vs. os883 really makes a difference, rather
 than being just unreliable in general and happening to have hit only
 dx3g091 during your testing, please?
