Comment(by walter):

 This is indicative of a more general problem with some toolbar elements
 (e.g., spinners) when they roll off the end of the toolbar onto a palette.
 IMHO, we should automatically expand the toolbars to double height when
 necessary and wrap. In any case, I am thinking of moving some of these
 controls, e.g. bars, top and bottom beads, to the canvas, freeing up more
 space for base and factor.
