Comment(by walter):

 The random placement is to prevent the bubbles from all stacking up on top
 of one another. But the speech bubble doesn't change shape in response to
 its orientation. I could either try to generate a tail that changes in
 position based on the orientation or leave the tail out all together (the
 latter being easier to code) Other suggestions?
