 I think it would be more intuitive if the ball moved left or right while
 the key is pressed and stopped moving when the key is released.

 I could probably figure out how to do this using gtk.gdk.KEY_RELEASE but
 it seems like there should be a way to say "While key is depressed" so
 that when the right or left key is lifted the ball stops moving
 horizontally.
