Comment:

 I would argue that upgrades should not impact an activity's status
 vis-a-vis Favorites View. If it was a favorite, it should remain a
 favorite and vice versa. (I have seen upgrades cause an activity to lose
 its favorite status.) However -- as you say at the end of the ticket -- I
 also agree that new activities be automatically tagged as Favortites. Not
 to give the user direct feedback that the install has been successful by
 placing it in the Favorite View leads to unnecessary confusion.
