 First time I tried it, the mouse froze, don't know if there was an error
 log. Cannot replicate.

 The online help tells me to create a keyframe with the camera button at
 the bottom of the screen. There is no camera button at the bottom of the
 screen. Next tried the snapshot button. Its actually the tick in the
 toolbar.
